People usually find us right here on East Main Street in Pudukkottai. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan going full blast while we wait for customers to come in. We’ve been running this wireless shop for a while now. Most days it’s just us handling phone recharges or helping people figure out why their screen isn't working like it should. We have different mobile phones in the glass cases, and some accessories hanging on the wall hooks. The street outside is always busy with bikes and people walking to the nearby markets. Sometimes we stand near the door just to see what's happening outside when things are quiet. If you’re coming from the junction, you can’t miss us. The shop isn't huge, but it fits everything we need to do our work. We spend a lot of time organizing SIM cards and chargers on the shelves. It’s a simple setup. We open up early and stay until the evening. The floor gets a bit dusty because of the road traffic, so someone is always sweeping up. We know most of the people who walk past because they live around here too. It’s just a normal day-to-day business where we try to get things done without making a big fuss about it. We have a small desk where we handle the paperwork and the cash box. It feels like home after being here so long.
