You can find Jupitar Fashion Pvt. Ltd. at No. 14 Natesan Colony in Kottivakkam. We are situated right opposite the Boys Junior College, which means the street gets very crowded when classes let out. It’s a lively area to be in, though. Our building is a bit older, but it serves us well enough for our fashion business. Inside, the rooms are filled with desks and different types of fabric samples. We spend our days looking at patterns and figuring out how to put things together. It’s not the most organized place in the world. We have papers and thread spools scattered around most of the time. There is a small kitchen area in the back where we make tea and take our breaks. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just focus on the clothes we are making. Most of the staff has been with us for years, so we all know how the others work. The noise from the college students usually fades by the late afternoon, and that is when we get our best work done. We try to keep our heads down and just do what needs to be done. It is a straightforward operation without any big corporate frills. We like it this way because it feels more like a community than a big company.
