You can find Tamilnadu Motors over near the Ashok Nagar Police Station. Our address is 21, though some of the older records still say Old 98. We are right on the Ashok Nagar Main Road, so it’s pretty easy to spot us when you’re driving by. It’s a lively neighborhood with a lot of people coming and going. Inside the garage, it’s mostly the sound of wrenches and the occasional radio playing. We spend our time looking at motors and trying to figure out why they aren't behaving. It’s a lot of troubleshooting and getting our hands dirty. The floor is stained with years of oil spills, no matter how much we scrub it. We’ve got a small desk in the corner where we keep the books, but mostly we’re out on the floor. It gets pretty humid here, and we usually have a fan going that just moves the hot air around. We don't have a fancy mission statement or any of that stuff. We just open up in the morning, do the work that comes in, and head home when it’s dark. It’s a simple life and we like being part of the Ashok Nagar community. People around here know us by name, and we know most of the cars that drive past every day. It’s just a regular local garage doing regular work for regular people.
