We are located on the second floor of 417 Pantheon Road in Egmore. It is a fairly central spot in Chennai, so getting here is usually easy enough, though the traffic on Pantheon Road can be a real headache during the day. The building itself has been around for a while, and it has that old-school government feel to it. As Tamilnadu Medical Services Corporation Limited, we deal with a lot of administrative work related to health supplies and logistics. Our desks are usually piled high with files and official documents that need sorting. The hallways are often filled with people moving between departments. It gets quite warm in the summer, and the ceiling fans are always humming in the background. We have a lot of cupboards filled with records that go back years. Most of our time is spent coordinating with different hospitals and making sure the supplies are moving correctly. It is a lot of logistics and double-checking lists. We don't really have any fancy decorations on the walls, just calendars and a few notices. During lunch, most of us sit together and talk about the heat or the latest news. It is a steady, busy environment where there is always something that needs to be filed or signed. It is just a regular office job in the middle of a busy city, and we try to get things done as efficiently as we can.
