We are based out of Coimbatore, right near the airport on Avinashi Main Road. It’s a busy area in SITRA and you can always hear the traffic or the planes now and then. Our office is in the AE/EME Centre. We spend our days working on things related to the coir industry here in Tamil Nadu. Coir is such a big part of the local economy and we try to do our part in the development side of the business. It isn't always easy work, and there is usually a lot of paperwork to sort through or meetings to attend with people from different parts of the state. The building itself is pretty functional. We don't have any fancy decorations or anything like that, just the desks, chairs, and files we need to keep things moving. Most of us have been working in this sector for a while so we know the ropes. Coimbatore weather can get quite warm, so the afternoons are usually spent inside the office finishing up the daily logs. We see people coming in from different farms and units quite often. It’s just a regular workplace where we focus on the task at hand. If you are driving down towards the Civil Aero Drome post office, you will find us nearby. We’ve been at this address for a bit and the neighbors know us well enough. It’s a straightforward operation here and we keep things simple.
