Vip Exports

Our little spot is over at No. 33/7 Rajamannar Street in T. Nagar. If you know Chennai, you know how busy this area gets. It is always loud outside with the traffic and people walking by, but inside the office at Vip Exports, we just focus on getting the work done. We handle a lot of different things going out to other places. It’s a lot of checking lists and making sure the packing is right. We have been on Rajamannar Street for a while and the neighbors know us. We don't have a big corporate team, it is just a few of us making sure the shipments move when they are supposed to. Sometimes things get delayed or a driver calls saying he is stuck in traffic, which happens a lot around here. We just deal with it as it comes. It is not always pretty and the office gets a bit cluttered with samples and files, but we know where everything is. People ask what we do exactly, and it is just export work, plain and simple. We don't use those big words or have fancy meetings. We just sit at our desks, use the phone, and get the goods moving from T. Nagar to wherever they need to be. It is a lot of back and forth with the customs people and the agents, but that is the job we chose.
