Our office is right here in T Nagar, specifically at No 1 Vigneshwara Apartment on Periyar Road. If you are looking for us, we are basically opposite Hotel Thulasi Park, which is a good landmark because everyone knows it. We have been working with minerals for a while now. It gets pretty loud outside with all the traffic coming through this part of the city, but we just keep our heads down and get the export paperwork done. The building is older, but it works for what we need. Most days start early with some tea and a look at the shipping schedules. We deal with various rocks and ores that come in from different sites. It isn’t glamorous work, mostly checking weights and making sure the containers are booked right. Sometimes the dust from the samples gets on the desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers or the port people. T Nagar is always busy, so getting in and out of the apartment complex can be a bit of a squeeze during rush hour. Our team is small, just a few of us handling the daily tasks. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It is just a practical space where we manage the mineral business. We have a couple of computers that have seen better days, but they still run the programs we need for the logistics. It's just how we do things here.
