Gsn Exports

T. Nagar is always crowded, and being at No. 69 South Usman Road means we are right in the thick of it. Gsn Exports is located in one of those older buildings that has a lot of character, which is a polite way of saying the elevator is temperamental. We usually just take the stairs anyway. It’s noisy outside with all the shoppers and the traffic, but once you get inside the office, it’s a bit calmer. We do a lot of export work, mainly focusing on getting local goods out to other places. There’s always someone coming in with a sample or a question about a shipment. We keep a pot of tea going most of the day because someone is always stopping by. The desk is cluttered with stamps and shipping manifests. We don’t have a big corporate structure here. It’s just a few of us sitting around desks, talking to suppliers on the phone. South Usman Road is a landmark itself, so people never have trouble finding us, even if parking is a total disaster. We just tell everyone to take an auto-rickshaw. It’s a busy life in this part of town, but we like the energy. We’ve been here long enough that we know all the other shopkeepers on the block. We just keep our heads down and handle the export business as it comes. It keeps us on our toes every single day.
