Swathi Enterprises

Out here at 1/1, Sivabootham Village, things move a little differently than in the main city. We are on Mettukuppam Road, right near the Vanagaram post office area. It is a dusty stretch of road, and there is always some construction or a truck blocking the way. Our place is basically where we manage all the enterprise stuff. It’s an old building, but it stays relatively cool inside because of the trees nearby. We have a couple of desks and a lot of ledgers piled up. The village vibe is still there even though the road is getting busier every year. You can hear the goats sometimes or the tea stall guy shouting down the street. We usually get in around nine and start sorting through the paperwork. It’s mostly regular office work, answering the phone, and making sure the supplies are where they should be. The internet acts up when it rains, so we end up doing things the old-fashioned way with pen and paper more than we’d like. There isn't a big sign outside, just the number on the gate. We have a small crew and we’ve known each other for years. It’s not a flashy setup, just a practical one for what we need to get done each day before the sun goes down and we lock up.
