Swastik Needles

We’re down on Narayan Mudali Street at 8/G-1. It’s a tight street, typical for this part of town. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with all the shops and carts moving around. We deal with needles here at Swastik Needles. It sounds like a small thing, but there’s a lot to it. We have boxes stacked up to the ceiling in the back. The lighting in the shop isn't the brightest, but we know our way around. It’s a bit of an old-school way of doing things. We talk to a lot of tailors and small factory owners who need specific types of needles. Sometimes they bring in a sample and we have to dig through our stock to match it. It’s a lot of squinting at small parts. The shop has that smell of old cardboard and metal. We’ve been here for years, and the street hasn't changed much. People stop by to chat even if they aren't buying anything. It’s a local kind of place. We don't use much fancy tech. Just a ledger and some basic tools to keep track of things. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning till night. Sometimes we stay late to finish up an order. That’s just life on Narayan Mudali Street. We close up when the sun goes down and do it all again the next day. It is a steady rhythm that we have grown to appreciate.
