Over here in Chennai, you can find Suzlon Infrastrucutre Services Ltd at No. 31/225 in O Block of Agathiyar Nagar. We are in the Villivakkam area. Chennai is a big, hot city and Villivakkam is quite a packed neighborhood. There are always kids playing in the streets and people going to the shops. Our office is tucked away in the O Block. It’s not a shiny corporate tower. It’s just a regular building like all the others around here. We do infrastructure services which means a lot of us are out in the sun for most of the day. When we come back to the office it’s usually to finish up some notes or talk about the next project. We have a few desks and some old fans that keep the air moving. It’s not fancy but it’s our space. The spelling of the name on some of our old paperwork is a bit funny but everyone knows who we are. We’ve been part of this community for a while now. We don't go in for big speeches or mission statements. We just show up in the morning and do the tasks that are lined up for us. Sometimes we stay late when a job is urgent. That’s just how it goes in this line of work. It’s a steady job and we are just regular folks working in Chennai, doing what needs to be done.
