Suresh Motilal & Co

We are located right at No 9 on Vaigunda Vathiyar Street. Most people find us by looking for the Elephant Gate Police Station since we are just behind it. It is a busy part of Sowcarpet, so there is always something going on outside our door. Suresh Motilal & Co has been operating from this small space for a while. We aren't really the type to have a big sign or a lobby with coffee. It is more of a place where you come in, sit down on a wooden chair, and talk about what needs to be done. The street outside is narrow, like most streets in this area, and finding a place to park is almost impossible most days. We usually suggest people just walk over if they are already in the market. Inside, it’s mostly just us and some cupboards full of records. We keep the fans running all day to beat the Chennai heat. It gets a bit dusty with all the construction and traffic nearby, but we keep the desks clean enough. Our day starts early and ends when the work is finished. We don’t really follow a strict corporate schedule, sometimes we stay late if a client needs something urgent. It’s just how we do things here. No fancy website or big promises, just showing up every morning and getting through the pile of papers on the desk.
