Supervisor,Drafting Men

My place is over in Mugapair East, specifically in Mullai Colony at 97/22. It is a quiet enough area for Chennai. I spend most of my time looking at drawings and working with the guys who do the drafting. We are not a big firm, just a small group handling the technical layouts and plans for various projects around the city. Drafting takes a lot of focus, and sometimes we sit for hours trying to get the lines right on the screen or on paper. It can be hard on the eyes after a while. I have been in this line of work for years, starting back when we used mostly pencils and drafting boards. Now it is mostly computers, but the logic stays the same. I make sure the drafting team knows exactly what the engineers want to see. Chennai is always building something new, so there is a lot of pressure to get the drafts out on time. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up fast. It is just part of the job. I do not really have a fancy philosophy about what we do. We just try to be accurate because a mistake on a drawing causes big problems later on at the construction site. My office is just a simple setup here in the colony. Neighbors know us and we keep to ourselves. We do the work that comes our way and stay busy.
