Sundaram Clayton Ltd. has been over in Padi for a long time now. If you spend any time in Padi, you probably know the area where we are. It’s an industrial spot, and we are just one part of the landscape there. The facility is large, and it takes a lot of people to keep everything moving across the different shifts. We have folks who have worked here for decades, and now their kids are starting to work here too. It’s that kind of place. The mornings start early with the sound of the shift change and the local tea stalls getting busy with our workers. It’s not the kind of job where you sit in a quiet office all day. There is noise from the machinery and the smell of metal and oil, which is just what we are used to. We don't go in for anything flashy. The walls might need a fresh coat of paint here and there, and the parking lot is always a bit of a squeeze, but the work gets done. Padi is a good place for a business like ours because everyone understands the rhythm of factory life. We just keep our heads down and focus on the production lines. Every day has its own set of problems to solve, whether it’s a machine acting up or a shipment being delayed, but we just deal with it and move on to the next thing.
