Sundar Clinic

The 12th Cross Street in Korrukupet is a narrow place and we are tucked right in at 1/82. Most people walking down Thigirinthapalyam or K.H. Road have seen our sign at least once. It’s a small clinic and we like it that way because we know almost everyone who walks through the door by their first name. The morning shift usually starts with a bit of cleaning and setting up the desks. It can get a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, so we are always wiping things down. We see a lot of families from the local streets here. It’s not a fancy setup with leather chairs or anything like that. We have basic wooden benches and a small desk where we keep the records. Sometimes the power goes out for a few minutes and we just wait it out with the patients. It’s a very local vibe where people share news about the neighborhood while they wait for their turn. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now and the building has some character to it, like the creaky door that we keep meaning to oil. It’s just a place for people to get checked out when they aren't feeling well. We don't spend money on big ads because the neighbors tell each other about us anyway. Everyday life here is just about being steady and helping out whoever walks in from the street to see the doctor.
