Our office is right on Purasawalkam High Road, specifically at number 273. If you look across the street, you will see the big Saravana Stores. It is almost impossible to miss us if you are in that area. Vepery is always packed with shoppers and cars, so it is a very lively place to work. The noise from the street is something we have just learned to live with over the years. You can hear the buses and the shouting of the street vendors all day long. Inside, it is a bit quieter, but not by much. We have been here for quite some time now. The office is not very modern, but it has everything we need to do our daily tasks. We have a few tables and some chairs for visitors. It is a very straightforward setup. Most of the people who come to see us are locals who are out doing their shopping and decide to stop by. We do not have any big slogans or any of those posters you see in big city offices. We just answer the door and talk to whoever walks in. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just part of living in Chennai. We know the neighbors and the local tea stall guy quite well. It is a nice community to be a part of, even with all the hustle and bustle outside. We like the familiarity of the place.
