Sugumar Clinic

If you go to 5/268 Venkateswara Nagar in Pozhichalur, you will find Sugumar Clinic. It’s a local spot that has been serving the neighborhood for quite a while. Pozhichalur is one of those places where everyone seems to know each other, or at least they know someone who knows you. The clinic is set up simply. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. There are some chairs in the front and a desk where we keep track of who is coming in. The street outside is usually busy with people going about their business. We see a lot of families, especially in the evenings when people are home from work. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most people find us just by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. The building is a standard house-style structure that fits right in with the rest of Venkateswara Nagar. Sometimes the waiting room gets a bit stuffy when it’s full, so we try to keep the fan on high. We just focus on seeing the people who walk through the door and giving them the time they need. It’s a basic, functional place that doesn’t try to be something it’s not. We’re just here to do the job and be a reliable part of the street we live on.
