Sterling Holiday Resorts (I) Ltd has this small office at F3 Nithya Flats in Nanganallur. It is located on Elangovadigal Street, which is a fairly peaceful part of Chennai 61. We aren't in one of those massive glass buildings in the city center. Instead, we work from this residential-style flat, which makes things feel a bit more grounded. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood while we are at our desks planning out travel stuff. The stairs up to F3 are a bit narrow, but we’ve gotten used to it. Most of our days involve sorting out bookings and talking to people about their vacation plans. Nanganallur is a nice area with plenty of temples nearby, so there is a certain rhythm to the day here. We keep the files organized as best as we can in the limited space. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit in the afternoon, but we just wait it out and get back to it. It is a cozy setup, nothing like those big corporate headquarters you see on TV. We have our tea breaks together and discuss the latest news in Chennai. It’s just a handful of us making sure everything runs smoothly from this little corner of the city. We’ve been at 23A for a while now and the locals recognize us coming and going. It works for what we need to do.
