Star Industries

Star Industries is located at 18 B on Kaveri Salai, right in the Muthamizh Nagar section of Kodungaiyur. It is a fairly straightforward place. We handle a lot of the typical industrial tasks you would expect from a small shop in this area. Kaveri Salai can get pretty busy with local traffic, but our spot is tucked in just enough that we can get our work done. The building isn't brand new, and it shows some wear and tear, but it works for us. Inside, we have our equipment set up and enough space to store what we make. Most of the guys here live nearby, so there is a bit of a neighborhood feel to the place. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture because we are usually too busy working with our hands. The air is often filled with the smell of metal or whatever materials we are using that day. Kodungaiyur is a working-class area, and we fit right in. We open up early, grab some tea from the stall down the road, and get straight to it. There is a lot of lifting and moving stuff around, so it keeps us on our toes. It is the kind of place where you know exactly what is happening the moment you walk through the door. We have a small radio that plays in the corner, though you can barely hear it over the noise of the machinery. The floor is concrete and can get quite cold.
