We are based in Chennai, specifically at Plotno.26/A/B, 1/247 in Mowleeswararnagar. It’s in the Mowlivakkam area, which has changed a lot since we first moved in. We work with health supplements and nutraceutical things. It’s a bit different from the heavy industries around here because we have to keep everything much cleaner. We spend a lot of time in hairnets and white coats, which can get pretty hot in the Chennai weather. The lab and the production area take up most of the space. We started this because we were interested in how these products are made. It’s a lot of mixing powders and checking weights on the scales. We aren't a massive corporation; it’s more of a focused team of people who know their jobs. Sometimes we’re here late into the night trying to get a batch finished and packed. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, but the main road can be a total mess during the rush hour. We don’t have any big slogans or marketing plans. We just follow the formulas and make sure the bottles are filled correctly every time. Most of our days are spent checking labels and making sure the inventory is right. It’s a lot of small details that you have to get right every single time or the whole thing is ruined. We’re just glad to be doing this work here in Tamilnadu and keeping the business going year after year.
