We are located at No 131 on the second floor of a building along the 100 Feet Road in Choolaimedu. Specifically, we are on Jawaharlal Nehru Road, which stays quite busy from morning until late at night. Getting to the office involves walking up a set of stairs since we are on the Iind floor, which can be a bit of a workout during the hot summer months. The office itself is not very big and we have filled it with the usual things like desks, some old filing cabinets, and a few fans to keep the air moving. You can hear the traffic and the horns from the street all day long, but you sort of get used to it after working here for a while. Choolaimedu is a lively area and there is always something happening outside the windows. We spend our days mostly handling paperwork and making sure the files are in order for the next day. It is just a handful of us here and we keep things pretty simple. There is no fancy reception area or anything like that for visitors. We just have our workstations and a small corner where we keep the water cooler and some snacks. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we take that time to step out for a quick tea at the shop downstairs. It is a very normal, local office where we just focus on getting our daily tasks finished before the evening rush starts.
