Srishti Design Studio

We've been at Al-183 on Al First Street for a while now. It's right off 11th Main Road in Annanagar. The studio is usually a bit messy with drawings and samples all over the place. We mostly spend our time trying to figure out how to make spaces look right without overcomplicating things. It’s a small team here. Some days it's quiet, other days we're all talking at once over coffee. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. Just some desks and a lot of paper. People usually find us through word of mouth or if they live nearby in the neighborhood. We like it here because it's central and easy for folks to drop by. Sometimes we lose track of time when we're deep into a project. It’s just how it goes when you’re trying to get a design to work. We don't do big presentations with lots of slides. We prefer just sitting down and showing what we've been drawing on the board. Usually, someone is running out to get tea from the corner while the rest of us argue about where a wall should go. It's a steady pace. We've seen the area change a lot over the years but our little spot on First Street stays pretty much the same. If you’re around Annanagar, you’ve probably walked past our door a few times without realizing what we do inside. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
