Srilakshmi Tours & Travels

Our office is over in Sipcot, right on the OMR in Chennai. Being out here near all the big IT parks means we see a lot of people who are always in a rush. We started Srilakshmi Tours & Travels because we saw how much everyone needed a reliable way to get home or go to the airport. It's a lot of sitting around waiting for the phone to ring and then trying to find a driver who isn't stuck in that famous OMR traffic. We keep a few cars and work with some local drivers we've known for years. It isn't a glamorous job by any means. We spend most of the day drinking tea and looking at maps or schedules. The office is just a small room with a couple of chairs and a lot of old car parts in the corner. We don't have a website or anything fancy like that. If someone needs a cab for a wedding or a trip to the temple, they just give us a call or drop by. We've had some long nights when a car breaks down or someone gets lost, but we usually figure it out. It's just the way things go when you're dealing with travel and roads. We're just a small group of people trying to keep things moving in this busy part of Chennai. Some days are slow and some are just non-stop, but we keep showing up anyway.
