SRI VEL NIDHI LIMITED

Our office is right on Bazaar Street in K K Nagar West, over here in Chennai. It is easy to find because the street is always crowded with people shopping and moving around. We are at number 40. Being a Nidhi limited company, we deal with savings and small loans for the people living nearby. It is a practical setup. Nothing fancy inside the office, just some chairs, tables, and the usual files piled up. The staff knows most of the faces that walk through the door because they are all from this neighborhood. We open early and stay until the evening. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud, but you get used to it after a few months. We spend a lot of time counting cash and writing entries in the ledgers. It is a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one day at a time. The 600078 area is quite active, so there is always someone coming in to check their balance or deposit a little bit of money. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy during the peak hours. Chennai weather is what it is, so we have the water cooler always filled. It is just a local business trying to keep things going for the folks around Bazaar Street. No big corporate meetings here, just us and the customers talking across the counter.
