Sri Vasavi Communications Arumbakkam

We've been here on Panchali Amman Koil Street for some time now. You can find us right behind the Spencer Super Market. Most people in Arumbakkam know the spot because it’s a handy shortcut. We mostly handle phone stuff and mobile services. It’s a small shop but we keep busy throughout the day. People come in for recharges or if their phone screen is cracked and they need a quick fix. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work and they remember they need a cable or a new battery. We try to get things done as fast as we can, though sometimes repairs take a day or two if we need parts. It’s not a fancy place but we have what you need. My brother and I run the counter usually. If you’re looking for a new case or a charger that actually works, we have those in the back drawers. The neighborhood is good, quite active with the market nearby. We see the same faces every week, people coming for their monthly top-ups. It’s nice being part of the local market here. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people just walk in because they saw the sign while shopping or a neighbor told them about us. Arumbakkam has changed a lot with the metro and everything, but this street stays pretty much the same. We open early and stay until late most days. It’s a lot of work but it keeps the lights on.
