Sri Lakshmi Furniture

Sri Lakshmi Furniture is right on Paper Mills Road in Perambur. We occupy numbers 223 and 225. We’re pretty easy to find because we are almost opposite the Venus Theatre. If you’re in Perambur, you probably know that theater well. Our shop is full of chairs, tables, and cupboards. There’s usually a faint smell of varnish or wood polish in the air because we’re always touching things up. It’s a bit crowded inside because we like to have plenty of items on display for people to actually see and feel. We don't have a website with fancy photos; we just have the actual furniture right here. The fans hum all day to keep the air moving, and we usually have the radio playing softly in the background. We spend a lot of time moving pieces around to make room for new stock. It’s a family-run feel here. We aren't wearing suits or trying to act like we’re in a corporate mall. We’re just local people selling things for local homes. On weekends, Paper Mills Road gets really busy with people going to the movies or shopping, and we stay open late to catch the crowd. We’ve been here for a good while and we plan to stay. It’s not a perfect showroom, but it’s our shop and we know every piece of furniture in it by heart. It is just a simple place for simple things.
