Sri Kali Electronics

We are over at number 21 in Balaji Nagar, which is part of the Padi area. It is a straightforward electronics shop. We have been here for a long time and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Our shop isn't very large, but we have managed to fit everything we need into it. There are shelves lined with all sorts of electronic components and half-finished projects waiting for attention. We usually have a radio playing some local music while we work. The street outside is usually quiet in the mornings but gets busy when the local schools let out. We don't have any big marketing plans or a fancy website. Most of our work comes from word of mouth or people just walking by and seeing us inside. We spend a lot of our time hunched over workbenches with magnifying glasses. It can be tedious work, but we find it satisfying when something finally works again after a long repair. We have a small porch area where we sometimes sit for a tea break in the afternoon. It is just a few of us here, and we treat everyone like a neighbor. We don't use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to people. We just tell them what needs to be done and how long it will take. It is a simple, honest way to run a business here in Padi.
