Our office is over at No 56/1 on Bazar Street. Like any bazaar street, it’s always packed with people and carts moving around. We are right in the thick of it. The space we have isn't massive, but it’s plenty for the four of us who work here. We’ve got our desks set up in a way that allows people to come in and sit down for a chat while we look through their files. We don’t have a reception area or anything like that; you just walk in and we say hello. Most of our day is spent writing things down and checking the math on different accounts. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t waste money on fancy carpets or paintings for the walls. We’d rather just keep the lights on and the books balanced. People appreciate that they can find us easily and that we don’t keep them waiting too long. It can get pretty loud outside during the festival seasons, but that’s just life on Bazar Street. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the market. We take our lunches together at the back of the office and then get back to work until it’s time to lock up for the evening. It’s a straightforward job, and we take it one day at a time. We don't really have a boss staring over our shoulders all day; we just know what needs to be done.
