Sri Ganesh Motors

Our shop, Sri Ganesh Motors, is located at No. 16 on Boo Begam Street. If you know the Mount Road area, you know it’s always packed with people and vehicles. We’ve been in this little corner for a long time. It’s a narrow street, so it can be a bit of a squeeze, but we like the energy of the place. We work on motors and related parts every single day. The floor usually has some oil spots on it and there’s always the sound of tools clanking. That’s just the sound of work getting done. We don't have a fancy waiting room with a TV or anything. Most people just stand around and chat while we look at what they brought in. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We’ve got shelves full of parts that we’ve collected over the years. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what’s needed, but we usually have it buried somewhere. We don’t put on any acts here. We just tell you what we see and what can be done. It’s a simple way to run a shop, and it works for us. The heat can get pretty intense in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and stay at it. We’re glad to be a part of the busy life on Mount Road, even if it’s a bit chaotic at times.
