Sri City (P) Limited

Sri City (P) Limited is based in Mylapore on Kutchery Road, right at number 85. Mylapore is one of those parts of Chennai that still feels very traditional, and Kutchery Road is no exception. It’s quite narrow and can get very congested with two-wheelers and autos, especially when there is something going on at the nearby temples. Our office is in an older building that has a lot of character. We don't have the glass and steel of the new IT parks out on the OMR. Instead, we have thick walls and ceiling fans that work overtime to keep us cool in the Chennai heat. It’s a busy place, but the atmosphere is generally pretty relaxed. We’ve been here for years, and we’ve seen the shops on the street change names a dozen times while we stayed put. Being in Mylapore means there is always good food nearby, which is a bit of a distraction for the staff during lunch. The office itself is full of maps and planning documents because of the nature of the development work we manage. We spend a lot of time on the phone or in small meetings around a cluttered table. It’s not a polished corporate environment. It feels more like a family-run spot where everyone knows their job and just gets on with it. We like the history of the area and being so close to the heart of the city.
