Sri Amoga Shipping

Our office is located on the second floor of the building at 11 Moore Street in Parrys. We are right behind the Collector Office, which makes it easy for people to find us once they get into the area. Sri Amoga Shipping is a small operation. We don't have hundreds of employees or a tall glass building. It's just a handful of us working in a space filled with ledgers and files. We’ve been around this neighborhood for a long time. Parrys is a loud and crowded place, but it's where all the shipping action happens. We spend our mornings checking on arrivals and our afternoons sorting out the customs stuff. It’s a repetitive kind of work, but it keeps the world moving. Sometimes the lift in the building is temperamental, so we end up taking the stairs. We know the other people in the building and the guys at the tea shop nearby. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just help people get their cargo through the port. It involves a lot of waiting and a lot of talking to different officials. We just try to stay patient and get the papers signed. It’s a practical business. We don't have time for anything that isn't helping a shipment move forward. If you come by, you'll see we're just regular people doing a regular job. The old number was 5 but now it is 11.
