SREE KCR BENEFIT CHIT FUND PRIVATE LIMITED is located on the second floor of the building at No. 22A, Lake View Main Road. We are right in the heart of Ayyappa Nagar in Madipakkam. The view from our windows is decent, though we spend most of the day buried in ledgers. Since we are a local chit fund, we don’t run a massive operation. It is mostly just us and the members who live in the nearby streets. The stairs leading up here are a bit narrow, but everyone manages to find their way. Inside, the office is very basic with just a few tables for the auctions and some shelves packed with records. We do all the calculations ourselves and make sure everything stays in order. Handling people's savings is a big responsibility, so we take the paperwork seriously even if the office looks a bit cluttered. You will usually find a couple of us drinking tea and going over the monthly collection numbers. We don't have a formal receptionist. If you walk in, you just talk to whoever is sitting at the desk. It’s a friendly enough place. Most of our members have been with us for a long time. We know which families are saving for a house or for their children's school fees. That is the nice thing about a local business. We are just here doing the work every day and keeping the chit cycles running smoothly.
