Sree Jain Eye Clinic & Optical

Our little spot is in the basement of Sriji Palace, right over here on E.V.K. Sampath Road. If you know where the Cosmos Bank ATM is, then you’ve probably passed by Sree Jain Eye Clinic & Optical without thinking much of it. Being in Vepery means there is always a lot of noise and people moving about outside on the street. Down here in the clinic, it’s a bit quieter than the main road. We spend our days looking at eyes and helping people pick out frames that don’t look too bad on them. The shelves are full of different glasses, and sometimes it takes people forever to choose a pair they actually like. We don’t mind, though. It’s a small shop and clinic, so things are pretty informal around here. We don’t have those flashy displays you see in the big malls. It’s more about just checking your sight and getting you the right lenses for your eyes. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a bit of a rattling sound, but it keeps the place cool enough for everyone. Vepery is a busy area, so we get a lot of walk-ins who just broke their glasses or need a quick eye test before work. We just do our work, talk to the neighbors, and close up when the day is done. It isn't a complicated business, just a local eye clinic trying to do right by the people who live around here.
