S.Ramachandra Rao & Associates operates out of the Johal Carriers Pvt Ltd building in Chennai. We are at H.No: 34/2 on Ennore High Road in Thiruvottiyur. If you know that area, you know it’s very industrial and right by the coast. The air always has a bit of salt in it. We share space here, so it’s a busy environment with trucks and logistics moving around all the time. It’s a practical spot for us because we’re close to a lot of the action in the northern part of the city. We don't have a fancy corporate suite; it’s more of a working office where we handle the associates' business. It gets quite humid and loud on Ennore High Road, but you get used to it. We spend our time going through documents, meeting people, and trying to stay on top of our projects. It’s not a polished operation with marketing brochures. We’re just people who have been working in this field for a while. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s quiet enough to actually get some thinking done. We’ve been in this part of Chennai for a good bit, and we know how the local pace goes. It’s just about getting the job done without too much fuss or ceremony. We take each day as it comes and try to make sure everything is in order before we head home.
