Sparsh Clinic

You can find Sparsh Clinic over at New No 13 in Bhakthavatchalam Nagar. We are on the 4th Cross Street in Adyar, which is a part of town that has changed a lot over the years. Our building used to have a different number, Old No 7, but most people just look for the sign now. It is a small street, so it’s usually quieter than the main roads nearby. Inside, we have a tiled floor and some wooden benches for people to sit on. The walls have a few framed papers on them. We get a nice breeze when the windows are open, but we have to shut them if the dust starts blowing in from the construction down the road. It’s just a standard clinic setup. We have a small sink in the corner and a cabinet for the clean towels. The light in the hallway flickers sometimes, and we’ve been meaning to get the electrician to look at it for a week now. Most people who come here are from the Adyar neighborhood. They know where we are tucked away. We spend most of our day just checking the schedule and making sure everything is in its place. It’s a simple operation with two small rooms and a little area out front. There is a big tree outside that provides some shade for the motorcycles parked on the curb. It is a quiet existence here on 4th Cross Street.
