Ruby Land

Ruby Land is located in the middle of Sowcarpet. We are on Veerappan Street, and the numbers can be a bit confusing because we have both an Old No. 29 and a New No. 37 on the door. That’s just how things are in this part of town. Sowcarpet is always packed with people, scooters, and narrow lanes, and our street is no different. We deal with property and land stuff from this small office. It’s a tight space, but we’ve made it work for years. You can hear the sounds of the market right outside our window all day long. It’s never quiet here. We have some old maps on the walls and lots of ledgers filled with notes. Most of our day is spent talking to folks who stop by to ask about plots or prices. We aren't a big corporate firm with glass windows. It’s more of a place where you sit down, have a glass of water, and talk. The stairs leading up are a bit steep, so you have to watch your step. We know most of the other shopkeepers on Veerappan Street. It’s a community. We just do our bit and try to keep things moving. It’s a lot of paperwork, but we’re used to it. The fan in the corner makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it helps with the heat. It's just us, doing our daily business in the heart of the city without any fuss.
