We are located over at Jvl Towers, specifically at 1-B on Nelson Manickam Road. Aminjikarai is a busy part of the city, so there’s always a lot of traffic outside our door. This is where the office side of Southern Alloy Foundries happens. It’s a bit different from the actual foundry floor, but it’s where we handle the paperwork and talk to folks about what they need. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now. It’s just a regular office space, nothing too special to look at. We keep files on all the different castings we’ve done over the years. Some people call us up, others just drop by when they are in the neighborhood. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything. It’s mostly just a couple of us answering phones and making sure the orders are moving along to the production side. The road outside, No. 117, is usually packed with cars, so we’ve seen the area change a lot since we started. We just keep doing what we do. It’s a bit of a mix of old ways and new ways. We try to be helpful when someone has a question about a specific alloy. Usually, we can figure out a solution based on what worked for someone else last year. It’s just how we run things, without any fuss or complicated processes that waste everyone's time.
