South North Transport

Our base for South North Transport is at No.61 in Ayappa Nagar, which is over in Poniyammal Medu in Chennai. The pin code here is 600 110. It is a simple place with enough room for our vehicles and a small area for us to sit and handle the bookings. Chennai can be incredibly hot, and our yard is no exception, so we spend a lot of time under whatever shade we can find. We move stuff between the southern part of the country and the northern parts, which keeps our drivers on the road for days at a time. The office at No.61 is just a humble spot where we keep the logs and take calls from customers. It’s not a corporate headquarters with glass and steel. It’s more of a local spot where the floor is a bit dusty and the chairs are old. We like it because it is close to the main routes we need. Most of our day is spent making sure the trucks are maintained and the paperwork for the long trips is ready to go. We don't have any big slogans or anything. We just focus on getting the transport done without too much fuss. People in Ayappa Nagar see us coming and going at all hours. It's a rough and ready kind of life, but it works for us.
