Sonali Chairs & Interiors

You can find Sonali Chairs & Interiors over at the Sivananda Building, right on Second Avenue in Anna Nagar. We are at No X-41, which is basically next door to the Ayyappan Temple. It's a landmark that most people in the area use to find us. Inside, we have a variety of chairs and different things for home interiors, but it’s more of a working shop than a polished gallery. There’s usually a bit of bubble wrap or cardboard lying around from new shipments. We spend a lot of time talking to folks who walk in after visiting the temple or just people living nearby in Anna Nagar who need a new seat for their office or home. The Second Avenue traffic is always there in the background, but we’ve gotten used to it. Sometimes we’re out on a delivery or helping someone set up their space, so the shop might feel a bit quiet then. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, showing people what we have in stock and helping them pick out something that fits. The building itself is an older one, which gives the place a bit of character. We like being in this part of town because there is always something happening outside. It's a simple operation, really, and we just take things one day at a time. We don't worry about being the fanciest shop on the block.
