Being over here at the CIT Campus on Iind Cross Road feels a bit different than being in a regular office building. It is more of a quiet, academic kind of atmosphere with all the researchers and engineers walking around. We have been in this spot for quite a while, working on microwave electronics and various engineering projects. The labs are usually filled with equipment that looks pretty complicated to anyone just walking in for the first time. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and testing out different components. It is not the kind of place where things happen very fast; research takes a lot of patience and sitting around waiting for results. Our building is functional, with long hallways and plenty of windows that look out over the campus greenery. Sometimes we take a break and walk around the grounds just to get some fresh air. The canteen nearby is where most of us end up for coffee and a bit of talk about things other than work. We don't really do much in the way of public displays or big announcements. Most of what we do stays within these walls until it is finished and ready for use. It is a focused environment, and everyone here seems to have their own specific corner where they feel most comfortable working. We just keep at it, day after day, trying to figure things out. It is steady work that requires a lot of concentration from the whole team.
