You can find us at 28/2 on Iterriroad, right in the Petchiammannagar section of Kitchipalaym, Salem-15. It is a humble office for Sobha Developers Ltd, nothing like the big headquarters you might imagine. We have been here for a good while, and the place has a bit of character to it now. The floor is a bit uneven in the back room, and the windows rattle when the big lorries go past on the road. We do all the local management for our development projects from these desks. It’s a lot of talking to contractors and checking on material deliveries. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small one that most people miss the first time they visit. The team here is small, maybe five or six of us on a busy day. We share a big table in the middle of the room for lunch, and that’s where we do most of our brainstorming too. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t go in for fancy carpets or expensive art. Instead, we have stacks of technical manuals and rolls of blueprints leaning against the walls. The heat in Salem can be tough, but we have a good rhythm going with the fans. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks that keep everything moving forward. It’s a real, working office where people aren't afraid to get their hands dirty and the tea is always hot.
