SLATE CONSULTING LLP

Our office is up on the first floor over at Kamdar Nagar. If you know Mahalingapuram, you know it can get pretty busy around here. We’re at number 4/40, right on the first street. It’s a decent spot, even if parking is a bit of a nightmare sometimes. We’ve been running Slate Consulting from this space for a bit now. It’s just a simple setup with desks pushed together and a lot of wires everywhere. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. Mostly, it’s just a group of us working through spreadsheets and taking calls. Sometimes we lose track of time and realize it’s already dark outside. The light in the hallway flickers a little, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. We do a lot of our work right here in this room. It’s not a huge operation, but we keep busy enough. On rainy days, you can hear the water hitting the roof quite clearly. It’s a bit noisy, but kind of nice too. We usually bring lunch from home and eat at our desks while we talk about whatever is happening in the city. There isn't a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. It’s just us. We’ve been part of this street for a while and the neighbors know us. It works for what we do. It’s a basic place, but it has everything we need to get through the day.
