Site Supervisour

The office for Site Supervisour is located at 17, Abbu Subair St in the Pichanoor Pet area of Gudiyattam. We are right in the heart of Vellore district. My day is mostly spent outdoors, moving between different small construction projects in the neighborhood. I look after the guys working on the masonry and the plumbing. It’s a lot of checking and double-checking. If you don't keep an eye on things, mistakes happen, and then you have to waste time fixing them later. I’m not a big fan of sitting behind a desk. I’d rather be out where the actual building is happening. My English might not be perfect, and I don't have a fancy business degree, but I know how to get a house built. I talk to the local suppliers to get the best price on bricks and I make sure the workers get paid on time. People around here know me as someone who is always on the move. I carry my notebook everywhere to write down what needs to be bought for the next day. It’s a simple life, really. Just making sure the work gets done and the quality is okay for the families who are going to live there. We’ve been here in Tamil Nadu for quite some time, just doing the daily grind and making sure the sites stay on track.
