Singapore Public Works Department

Our office for the Singapore Public Works Department is tucked away at No 3 Alwarpet Street. We are located right in the Alwarpet area of Chennai with the pin code 600018. It’s a well-known part of the city and it feels like a good place to be based. We’ve been here for quite some time now just handling the daily operations that come through our doors. The street can get a little crowded during the peak hours but that is just how it is in Chennai. We aren't using any fancy marketing tricks or trying to sound like something we aren't. We are just a team of people working in this office on Alwarpet Street. Most of our day is spent looking at plans and making sure things are running the way they should. It’s a lot of practical work and not much else. The building itself is pretty standard for this neighborhood. We know the people around here and they know us. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that on the walls. We just come in, do what needs doing, and then go home. It’s honest work and we take it as it comes. Sometimes the rains make the street a bit messy but we still show up. It’s just how we operate here in Chennai 18. We have been part of the local scenery for a long time now.
