You can find View Point Exports on the second floor of Silver Park Apartments. We are in C Block, Door No. 6, right on Thanikachalam Road. Being in T. Nagar means it’s always busy outside, but once you get up to the second floor, it’s a bit calmer. It’s an apartment building that has been turned into offices, so it feels a bit like a home in some ways. We have desks set up in what used to be the living room and bedrooms. We spend a lot of time on the phone or on the computer, tracking where our goods are. The elevator is a bit slow sometimes, so we usually just take the stairs. There’s a lot of traffic on Thanikachalam Road, so we try to get here early to beat the rush. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just us working through piles of documents. We’ve been here for a while and the location is good for meeting people who are already in the city. We keep a small kettle for making coffee when the afternoons get long. It’s a very plain office with white walls and some old metal cupboards for the files. We don’t do much advertising; most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve worked with us for years. It’s just a regular place doing regular work, and we like it that way without any extra polish.
