Silicon Valley Communications Ltd. is based at 14, Jagannathan Road in Nugambakkam. The name might sound like we’re a big tech giant, but we’re really just a local office doing our thing. Nugambakkam is a busy area, so there’s always a lot of noise and movement right outside our windows. We handle a variety of communication equipment, mostly for other businesses around here. Our office is fairly basic. We have some desks, a lot of testing gear, and shelves full of parts. We don't really care about having a fancy, polished look. We’re more interested in just getting through the pile of work we have every morning. Most of us have lived in this city our whole lives, so we’re used to the pace of Jagannathan Road. We don't do much in the way of promotion. Usually, a client calls us because someone else they know told them we could help. We don't have a big corporate structure or a bunch of managers. We just talk to each other and get things done. It’s a pretty relaxed environment, even when things get busy. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles with the heat, but we just keep going. We’re just regular people who happen to know a lot about communication systems. We’ve been at this location for a good while, and we’ve gotten to know the other people working on this block pretty well. That’s pretty much us.
