Sidharth Foundations & Housing Ltd

We are based over on Mgr Street in Choolaimedu, Chennai. The office is at number 3, right on Periyar Pathai. If you know Chennai 94, you know it’s a lively area with plenty going on at all hours. We handle foundations and housing, which basically means we spend a lot of time thinking about dirt and bricks. It’s not a fancy life. Most of the time we have mud on our boots. The office is a place to escape the sun for a bit and handle the permits. We aren't one of those giant developers with billboards all over the city. We’re a smaller outfit. We have a few regular guys who have been with us for years. We know the local soil and how the rain affects the builds around here. Sometimes the traffic on Periyar Pathai makes it hard to get the trucks in on time, but we manage. We don't have a big marketing department. People usually hear about us from a neighbor or a friend. We just try to build things that won’t fall down and keep the costs where they should be. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking on progress at the sites. We have a lot of old ledgers sitting on the shelves that we never look at anymore. It’s just how the office has grown over time. We just keep our heads down and do the work, day in and day out. That’s about it for us.
