Shyamali Export

If you look for us at No. 3 Metha Nagar Main Road, you will find us pretty easily. Shyamali Export is right there in Metha Nagar. It is a typical office where we spend a lot of time on the phone. We handle a lot of logistics stuff. It’s mostly about moving goods from one place to another. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us making sure things happen. The neighborhood is okay, though the parking on Main Road can be really difficult if you arrive after ten. We have been working out of this spot for a while. Our desks are usually covered in papers and sticky notes. We use a lot of tape and cardboard. The tea guy comes by twice a day and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or things like that on the walls. We just have a calendar and some maps. It’s honest work. Sometimes things get delayed and we have to explain it to folks, which isn't fun. The street noise is something you just get used to after a while. Sometimes a truck will back up right outside the window and the beeping goes on for ten minutes. We just keep typing. Our office chairs are starting to squeak, so we probably need to buy some oil for them. We have a small fridge in the corner for our lunch boxes and some cold water.
