Shri Ramm Auto Components

We’ve been here at Ambattur Industrial Estate for quite a while now. If you look for the Pollution Control Board office, you’ll find us right near there at SP-87. It’s a busy area, lots of noise and trucks moving around all day. Most of our time goes into working on different auto components. We have a small team here and most of them have been around for years, so everyone knows exactly what needs doing when the morning shift starts. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular workshop with machines and oil on the floors. Some days are really hectic when orders come in all at once, and other days we’re just doing routine maintenance on our equipment. We don't really do big advertisements or anything. People usually find us because someone they know told them where we are. We just focus on getting the work finished and sent out on time. The weather gets really hot inside the shed during the summers, but that’s just how it is working in an industrial zone. We keep a water cooler in the corner and everyone takes their breaks there. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just make the parts that are needed and try to keep things running smooth so there aren't many complaints from the people we supply to. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday every week. That is our life.
