Shri Gayathry Leather

Shri Gayathry Leather is located right on Vepery High Road in the Periamet area. Our address is Old No. 142, though the new number is 20. It can be a little confusing for people trying to find us the first time because of that number change on the street. Periamet has always been known as a hub for leather, and we are just one of the many spots around here doing our daily work. We spend our days surrounded by the specific smell of hides and the constant sounds of the busy road right outside the door. It is not a quiet place to work, but everyone here is used to it by now. The shop is filled with various leather materials and odd bits of hardware. We do not really do any advertising; mostly it is just people stopping by because they are in the neighborhood or they have known us for years. It is a very practical business. We keep things straightforward without any fuss. There is a lot of lifting and moving heavy bundles around during the day. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped inside when a new shipment comes in from the suppliers. We just try to keep things as organized as we can. It is a small environment where everyone knows what their job is. We have been on Vepery High Road for quite a while now. It is a gritty part of town, but it is where the work happens.
